ANTHONY J. GIOSA
Anthony J. Giosa is the founding and managing partner of the firm. Mr. Giosa has been practicing for thirty (30) years with a focus that has always been on accident victims, patients who have been subject to medical and hospital negligence, and families who have lost loved ones due to the negligence of others. His practice areas include catastrophic personal injury; automobile, motorcycle and trucking accidents; medical malpractice; premises and construction liability accidents; wrongful death matters; products liability; legal malpractice; municipal liability and multi-party liability.
Mr. Giosa received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from LaSalle University in 1979 and his law degree from Temple University James Beasley School of Law in 1982. In law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Weiner in the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
From 2011 through 2016, Anthony Giosa was chosen as a Super Lawyer, as seen in Philadelphia Magazine. Being chosen as a Super Lawyer represents recognition by his peers of his professional achievements and expertise in the area of personal injury law. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization that, by invitation only, recognizes excellence in advocacy for those attorneys who have achieved superior results and seven (7) figure settlements or verdicts on behalf of their clients. He has a rating of “Excellent” with the lawyer rating service Avvo. Mr. Giosa has also been named to the list of Top 100 Trial Lawyers of Pennsylvania by the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Giosa has litigated cases resulting in million dollar settlements and awards on behalf of his clients. Because of his expertise, he is known as a “Lawyer’s Lawyer”. He is often called upon by his peers to assist in cases that are complex or difficult in nature. He has that rare ability to make a complex case simple and easy for insurance companies, judges and juries to understand resulting in full justice for his clients.
Mr. Giosa has litigated cases over his thirty (30) year career in nearly every state court in the Philadelphia metropolitan and South Jersey area, including Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Federal District Court for New Jersey.
Mr. Giosa is proud to have served for the past twenty (20) years as a Court-appointed Judge Pro Tempore for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Major Jury Day Forward and Day Backward Programs, as well as a Certified Arbitrator on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Compulsory Arbitration Program. For many years he has been chosen by his peers to serve as an Arbitrator in uninsured and underinsured motorist cases.
Mr. Giosa is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, and a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
DANIEL J. HETZNECKER
Daniel J. Hetznecker is a partner in the firm. Mr. Hetznecker has been practicing for twenty (20) years. His practice areas include civil litigation, catastrophic personal injury, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, municipal liability, nursing home liability and elder abuse, employment litigation, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, business and commercial litigation.
Mr. Hetznecker received his bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Temple University and his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1992, where he was inducted into Phi Delta Phi., Harrington Inn, Honor Society, North America’s oldest law fraternity.
In 2003, Mr. Hetznecker earned a Masters of Law (LL. M.) in trial advocacy from the distinguished Trial Advocacy Program at Temple University James Beasley School of Law.
Mr. Hetznecker regularly litigates cases in each of the eight counties comprising the Philadelphia/South Jersey metropolitan area, including Federal District Court for the Eastern of Pennsylvania and Federal District Court of New Jersey. He has also litigated cases in Common Pleas Courts for Cambria, Carbon, Lancaster, Lehigh and Dauphin counties in Pennsylvania; and Cape May, Mercer, Essex, Monroe and Ocean Counties in New Jersey.
Admitted to the state bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Hetznecker is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAAJ), the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAAJ). He is admitted to practice in Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Federal District Court of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Hetznecker is honored to serve as a Certified Arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Compulsory Arbitration Program, and to have been chosen by his peers to serve as an Arbitrator in complex automobile, premises liability, and business litigation arbitration proceedings.
